In this third year of Bandung Green and Clean (BGC) program, BGC keeps developing the BGC’s facilitators from the local community into one coordinating institution named ‘Paguyuban Facilitator Bandung Green and Clean’.

 

The facilitators are local cadres who become a motivator to all people in their neighborhood. They also spread out variety of ideas and innovation leading to social behavior’s changing for the environment.

 

This Paguyuban Facilitator Bandung Green and Clean establishment derived from the facilitators’ expectation during the Bandung Green and Clean program in order to get the cooperation and more intensive guidance in a single coordinating institution.

 

The first step was started with socializing in six regions that covers 30 districts in Bandung City. The first socialization was held in Gedebage that covered 5 districts on Tuesday, September 27 2011, in Gedebage District’s office. And the next socialization was held in Cibeunying region on October 5^th, Tegallega on October 20, and Karess on October 25, 2011.

 

After this socialization, every district chooses their representative to be an ambassador for Paguyuban Facilitator Bandung Green and Clean.

 

We hope that these local cadres can be figures that sufficiently knowledgeable and able to represent theirs region to work together in order to achieve Bandung Green and Clean’s big dream.
