The election of Kairagiweru as the best area of Manado Green and Clean 2011 attracted attention of many people. Once the appreciation momentum of Manado Green and Clean 2011, the region immediately welcomed guests of honor.

All stakeholders Manado Green and Clean visited the area. They are from the Vice Mayor of Manado, Harley Mangindaan, Territory Sales Supervisor of PT Unilever Indonesia, Tony Lekong, Satrio Sumonoaji, Chief Editor of Manado Post and Marlon Summaraw.

The Head of local area thinks that since the program exist, the local people are now more aware about the importance of having green and clean area. People increasingly understand the importance of waste segregation by establishing a system of waste bank. The people also do the greening by planting all kind of plants’ seeds.
